This Past Weekend in MD & DE
Mon., Oct. 30. 2006 10:27pm EST
We played our 900th, 901st, and 902nd concerts this past weekend in North East MD (Friday), Mechanicsville MD (Saturday), and Wilmington DE (Sunday).
Our concert in Wilmington took place just a month and a half after our last concert there. It went so well that we're going to take a similar approach with the Maryland concerts. We'll be back in the same area in three more weeks, on Sunday, November 19 (More details to come soon.)
Saturday was the one-year anniversary of Jimmy "Vegas" Tanner's first concert with ApologetiX. You can read more about that elsewhere in this week's newsletter.
Thanks to:
Our concert coordinators: Bob Laird (North East), Bob & Shelly Baldauff (Mechanicsville), and Ward Keever (Wilmington). Sorry, Ward Keever's wife isn't named June, and he doesn't have sons named Wally and Beaver.
Our merchandise coordinators: Jenn (North East and Wilmington) Donna (North East), Marie (Mechanicsville), and Nikki (Wilmington).
Our roadies: Micah and John (North East and Wilmington), Rich (Mechanicsville),
Our soundmen: John (North East and Wilmington) and Bob (Mechanicsville).
Favorite sign seen inside a church this past weekend: (Friday) "Do not block this file cabinet. It contains handbell music."
