15th Anniversary Concert Only a Month Away
Sat., May. 26. 2007 1:09pm EDT
The ApologetiX 15th Anniversary Celebration concert is only a month away -- Friday, June 29, in Wexford PA near Pittsburgh. In addition to the many fans from multiple states who've told us they're planning to come, the following ApologetiX alumni are already confirmed for the event:
Jeff Pakula (our original drummer)
Jerry Hayostek (our original bassist)
Steve Kayner (bassist on "Isn't Wasn't Ain't")
Keith Harrold (drummer on "Isn't Wasn't Ain't," and various times from 1992-00)
Bob Flaherty (drummer from 1995-98)
Fred Behanna (drummer from 1999-01)
Bill "Moose" Rieger (drummer from 2001-05)
John Taylor (fill-in bassist on several occasions 2005-06)
We hope to integrate those ApologetiX alumni into the concert, and we certainly want to honor them for their efforts. And, most of all, we want them to have the opportunity to meet you. Make sure you bring your CDs for them to autograph.
We're also hoping to videotape the event to preserve it for posterity. Who knows? If the tape turns out to be terrific, we might make it available on DVD at a later date.
The concert is free to the public and will take place in conjunction with North Park Church Community Day, so there will be a picnic (with free refreshments and games) at 6 p.m. followed by the concert at 7:30 p.m.
The June 29 concert launches a 10-day tour that will take us to Texas and back. Lord willing, it will also be the maiden voyage for our new tour bus.
Hope to see you there!
