This Past Weekend in WI & SD
Wed., Jun. 2. 2010 1:27am EDT
We had to travel more than a thousand miles to get to this past Saturday's concert in South Dakota, so you'd think we'd have to rush more than usual, but we actually made good time. And we had a good time, too, playing Friday in Lancaster WI and Saturday in Yankton SD.
On the way home, two deer simultaneously ran in front of (and into) our bus on Interstate 80 somewhere in Eastern Ohio. Thankfully, the bus and everybody inside escaped without any noticeable immediate damage, although we doubt the same could be said for the deer. We stopped as soon as we could afterward, but we couldn't find any traces of the deer.
Here's a nice email from a fan who attended the show in Yankton:Wow, Saturday night was great! Thanks for a great show. We both really enjoyed it. Great tunes, great playing and singing. And bless you for giving great messages too, scripture references, etc.
