Last Weekend in PA
Wed., Jul. 25. 2012 4:21pm EDT
Don't believe everything you heard about our concerts last weekend in Herminie PA and Aliquippa PA. We were not joined onstage by goth-rock superstar group Evanescence.
Perhaps the confusion arose because we were blessed to have Eve and Evan at both shows. They even ran our merchandise table on Friday night, although they didn't sell nearly as many CDs as Evanescence. Of course, 25 million is a difficult number to surpass.
Eve is ApologetiX drummer Jimmy "Vegas" Tanner's lovely wife. Evan is the younger half of the legendary Brothers Gross, who each have attended nearly 125 concerts. Brandon currently has the lead with 123, but Evan has beefed up his total to 121.
Here are some email excerpts from this past weekend's concerts:I really appreciate all of you guys -- not only your top-notch musicianship but the way you guys interact with each other. It is refreshing to see, especially considering the long bus rides you guys endure together.
I know it can be tough night after night trying to keep it all together and then putting on a top-notch performance. But you all did it again, and most importantly your commitment to Christ comes through consistently. You guys set the bar very high and are a great example to the rest of us. Give the guys my best.

Thank you so much for having the ApologetiX play at our church. It really was a blessing. Thanks for working with us, even though the dimensions weren't ideal, it was an amazing concert.
The music was great, and the fact that you clearly share the Gospel in your concerts is one of things that puts you in my top Christian Bands.
Your continued ministry will be in my prayers. May God richly bless your work for His kingdom.
