Nebraska Man Challenges APX Fans

Although the evolutionary concept of "Nebraska Man" was later proven false, the words below are true. But this Nebraska man is still alive and well, and he has a challenge for ApologetiX fans:I have a challenge for those in your band's fan club, but want to give a little background first.
I bought my first ApologetiX CD over ten years ago. My employer was having a Christmas party for staff and we were encouraged to bring novelty gift. Looking around a local Christian bookstore, I stumbled (not literally) across this CD. It was intriguing so I bought it. In fact, it was so intriguing that I had to listen to it a few times before the staff party.
That was my first experience with ApologetiX – I was blessed, excited, encouraged, strengthened, and so much more. It was almost like being 'saved' all over again. The best thing was that the person who received this CD at the staff party didn't really 'get it' so he let me have the CD back.
Since that time, I think I have purchased 15 or more of your CDs. With each one I am impressed anew with the talents of the band members and amazed at how the Holy Spirit guides you in your writing of lyrics. I love that each CD drips with God's truth and regularly thank Him for the combination of really, really great music and even better lyrics. I cannot tell you how many times I have listened to each song on each CD I own over the years. For the small price I paid for that first CD, I have received countless hours of blessing and joy over many, many years – what a bargain!
For the countless repeated blessing we receive in being able to hear our favorite ApologetiX songs without limit, we pay so little. Yet, you and the band must put in a tremendous amount of time, work, research, preparation, rehearsal, and prayer – not to mention carrying the financial burdens associated with offering concerts and CD's to your fans (at very little cost to us by the way).
It seems to me a little unfair for us to ask you guys to do so much so that we can be blessed so much and for such little investment of our own. We give the band (and the band's families) such limited resources and in return we get unlimited access to what you have created.
I would like to challenge each member of your fan club, out of love and appreciation for the band's many years of faithfulness as ministers of the gospel, to send ApologetiX a one-time gift of $5. This would be such a little thing for us to do in honor of all that you guys have done for us. This little bit offered by the many of us could be a great blessing and encouragement to each of you. More importantly, it would be our way to more adequately returning a blessing to those who first blessed us.
I trust that most of those in your fan club would love to do something in a more substantial way to convey our appreciation for your faithful and sacrificial ministry to us. However, many may not be able to anything in a big way. Yet, a small thing ($5) from many people equals a gigantic statement of thanks, appreciation and support.
