Are you ready for the new ApologetiX songbook? It's almost 500 pages long and should be ready for you by the beginning of next week.
We're putting the finishing touches on a massive updated version of the ApologetiX songbook that includes every parody we've released from 1993-2013.
The original download included all our albums through Wordplay (2006). Since then, we've released Rare Not Well Done Vol. 1 & 2 2007), Chosen Ones (2007), Future Tense (2008), Recovery (2009), The Boys Aren't Backin' Down (2009), Soundproof 2010), Wise Up and Rock (2011), Orchard Avenue (2012), 20:20 Vision (2012), Hot Potato Soup (2013), Churchigo II, Transformed Soul, Handheld Messiah plus 12 ApologetiX Classics anthology CDs!
The new songbook features all the songs from the original plus everything we've released since. The old songbook had our parodies listed in order by album; the new one still has entries for each CD, but it presents our parodies in alphabetical order, and each listing shows all albums on which a particular parody appears.
It still includes a J.'s Journal section, telling the story and meaning behind each parody, but it also includes five different indexes that allow you to look up our parodies by original artist, original title, our title, subject, and scripture verse.
Note: This 480-page book will be available only as a download. It is an e-book you can download in PDF format. You can print any or all of its pages, search for keywords, and make overheads to sing in church with no licensing issues.
