ApologetiX: The New Choice for Christmas Puppet Shows
Wed., Dec. 22. 2004 10:04pm EST
Carrying on a longstanding tradition of puppets and Christmas (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the Little Drummer Boy, Heat Miser & Snow Miser, et al), here's an excerpt from an email we just received from two of our fans in the Atlanta area, Hope and Ally:
"Just had to send you a quick e-mail about our Christmas program tonight! It totally stinkin' rocked (to coin an Ally phrase). We did 'Christmasnite' & 'Manger' with our puppets; I was in 'Manger' & Ally was in 'C-Nite.'
"I was so happy! It went off without a hitch & we could hear lots of laughter from the congregation (even all the "smooth grandmamas" liked it :) !) A lot of the people came up after & said how much they enjoyed it & loved the music. I even did a welcome right before it & told the congregation about you guys & what you stand for. I could see a lot of them nodding & smiling."
"So anyway, I hope you get a smile out of knowing you inadvertantly helped to make our Christmas program a very special one, & that our kids & teens are starting to sing your songs in place of the secular versions. Thank you again (for the 50 millionth time, but you should never get tired of hearing it) for your incredible message &
testimony. Merry Christmas!"
