Tracy's a Mom Who Likes "JC's Mom" (and it's #1 Again!)

We've just been informed that our latest single, "JC's Mom," is #1 for the second consecutive week on the Alternative/Modern Rock charts in this week's issue (1/28/05) of the American Christian Music Journal.
A parody of "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne, "JC's Mom" is the first single from "New & Used Hits: The Best of ApologetiX Vol. 1 & 2," which also hit #1 on the Alternative/Modern Rock Albums chart in the December 24 issue.
That's great news, but we also got better news about "JC's Mom" in this email from a mom named Tracy:
"I heard your song 'JC's mom' the other day, and recognized the tune as one that my daughter used to play all the time. Thanks for what you do. My son loves rock music, and they themes and lyrics can contradict what the bible teaches us about living. Thanks to you all for putting a great message to some familiar and fun music. I believe it is steering my 13 year old in the right direction! I just bought your newest CD and can't wait to listen!"
The American Christian Music Journal, formerly known as ChristianBEATS, is a national publication for the Christian music industry published by the American Christian Music Exchange.
Our previous ApologetiX CD, "Adam Up," hit #1 on the Alternative/Modern Rock chart in May/June 2004, yielding a #1 Christian Rap/Hip Hop single, "Look Yourself," in January 2004, and a #2 Modern/College single, "Lifestyles of the Rich and Nameless" in May 2004.
