Youth Director First Heard APX Via Orlando Magic

Although APX lead singer J. Jackson is six and a half feet tall, he never played basketball aside from pick-up games. However, ApologetiX did play a concert after the Philadelphia 76ers game at Wachovia Center in December 2004. Yes, we know they're the worst team in the NBA now, but they actually made the playoffs that year.
But we've just learned of another NBA-APX connection from a youth minister in Florida:I just wanted to thank you for what you and the band are doing. I've been a fan since Keep the Change, when I used to work for the Orlando Magic, and our PR announcer's wife loaned me her copy to listen.
I believe now that I have most of your CDs. And I took my youth group to see y'all play in a church near Lakeland, FL maybe seven years ago?
We've started a praise and worship band in our youth group, and I've written a couple of parodies as well. But not near as well as y'all. Haven't been able to incorporate stories and Scripture nearly and easily as well as you do.
So thank you for answering God's calling in the unique and extremely cool way!
