Encouragement from Longtime Fan in Nigeria
Fri., May. 20. 2016 11:31am EDT
We recently received an extremely encouraging email from a longtime fan in Nigeria with whom we'd corresponded before in 2012 and 2014. Olaoluwa Elijah Fagbemi first heard of ApologetiX about eight years ago through Focus on the Family's Plugged In online publication, and he wrote the following to us about 10 days ago:I don't know how much I can thank you for the links to some of your songs you sent to me (in 2014). I feel really blessed. Honestly, I have listened to many of them and I really felt the inspiration of God in your sermon "Good News and Bad News" (on the 20:20 Vision album). It really hit the nail on the head.
I've been wanting to ask you if there's a way I can have access to all your library but I've been feeling timid and nervous to ask lest it seem I'm asking for too much. But when I saw some offers in your newsletter recently I felt compelled.
I would have been able to pay the donation but I work more than 8 hours daily here in Nigeria and my monthly pay is not more than 330 dollars. As a result, I don't know how I can give that much donation, when i still have a wife and baby to take care of.
So please, is there a way I can have access to all your library? I hope I'm not asking for too much. It's just that your songs are as sermons to me. Thanks a lot and may God bless you, your band members and your families. You've been a blessing to me and the world.
PS: I've been enjoying the lyrics to your songs while listening to them through the Musicmatch Android app.

Lagos, Niegeria We were touched that, out of all of the tracks we'd sent, "Good News and Bad News" (a spoken salvation message) had such a profound impact on Olaoluwa. Of course, we were delighted to send him our complete library (and if you're in a situation like his, don't be afraid to ask us for the same thing), and here was his response:I have been beyond happy since I got your response. I immediately shared it with my wife. Thank you so much; you make the little poor African guy as me feel highly honoured in getting response from a prestigious American band as yours. Thanks a lot for honoring God in my life.
This gift you've given me is priceless and I will be forever grateful. May the God of wonders supply your needs as a band, family and fellow Saints. May you never lack anything you need for this ministry. May His grace and mercy never depart from you and your families. May the light of the sweet countenance of Christ shine upon you forever. As you grow older your strength will not fail. The glory of God in your lives will be greater as each day goes by.
This is possibly the greatest free gift I have ever gotten online. Thanks a lot and may the grace of Jesus Christ always be with you all.
P.S. Greet your wives and children for me.
