Encouraging Emails: Eight is Enough
Fri., Sep. 1. 2017 3:21pm EDT
We received some great notes of encouragement in August, and we wanted to share some with you. Back in 1977-81, ABC had a popular show called Eight is Enough, so we took their lead and picked eight:Thanks again for a wonderful and uplifting (25th anniversary) concert. It was well worth the trip. I hope to see you at the 30th, if not sooner.

It was a great weekend, and as I said, perhaps the most fun concert experience I've ever had. We had a blast watching so many different formations of the band, and loved being able to hear such a dynamic live presence.

After attending any of your concerts, I always walk away every time feeling encouraged, blessed, refreshed in the Holy Spirit, alive, rejuvenated, etc. I wish I felt like that at other times in my life and maybe I do and just can't remember, but nothing like the feeling I have after one of your concerts. Its such an uplifting experience.

I was one of the like 12 people that showed up at the Hookstown Fairgrounds seven years ago when you played the One Voice Music Festival! I was so impressed with how even though the crowd was pitiful, you played as if there were a thousand! I've also seen you in Weirton WV and Upper Saint Clair PA, and our oldest son and I were at the 25th Anniversary concert … I have always loved your passion for Christ and knowledge of God's Word.

I literally just cried listening to "Thankfully" for the first time! That's amazing! And "Free Indeed" is awesome! Thank you so much for your music and your ministry!

Every now and then when I'm riding around I someone else's car and one of the songs come on the radio that you guys have spoofed, I find myself hearing your words instead. I believe your work is very important and love playing it for people who usually don't realize the lyrics are different for a few songs.

I recently purchased (through iTunes) a bunch of ApologetiX songs from the last several years. I wanted to compliment the quality of your recordings and lyrics … Keep up the great work, and I am looking forward to your future releases.

I'm in the eleventh grade and am planning on becoming a professor of Biblical Studies and Archaeology. I LOVE your music! I think it's cool that you rewrite lyrics to bad songs and make them good. My favorite songs of yours are "I love Apostle Paul," "We're Not Going to Canaan," and "All the Stalls Stink." I would love it if you could come to Dallas and sing with your friends!
