ApX Guitarist Doing Well After Serious Surgery

ApologetiX alum guitarist Tom Milnes has been through a lot recently. After suffering from severe headaches for three months, he finally went to a nearby hospital late last week to get checked out.
Initially the doctor in the emergency room thought his brain was filled with cancerous tumors. She said they needed to send him to Pittsburgh to do more testing to see if the cancer originated in his brain or if it had spread from somewhere else.
Thankfully, an MRI showed just one tumor, which the doctors hoped would not be cancerous, growing outside of his brain. Surgery was scheduled for this past Monday, December 2.
Because of the suddenness and severity of the situation, only certain people were made aware of what was going on, although some of us in the band were told, as was the congregation Tom pastors. Here's a report his wife, Barb, posted on Tuesday and gave us permission to share:For those of you who haven't heard, Tom had surgery yesterday to remove what the doctors believe was a benign tumor on surface of his brain. They expect him to make a full recovery.
I want to thank all our prayer warriors who have been continuously storming the gates of heaven on his behalf. My family and I are forever grateful and could not have made it through this without y'all. We praise Jesus today for his faithfulness! On Wednesday, she texted us with this follow-up:He's doing great today. The doctors are impressed with how articulate he is today. The tumor was on the part of the brain that controls speech. On Thursday, she texted us more good news:He's getting out today! Praise the Lord! Please keep Tom, Barb, and their family in your prayers.
