RSS Feed Now Available

Guitarist and uber-geek, Karl put the finishing touches on the RSS version of our news page. ApologetiX has always been on the cutting edge of technology. We were one of the very first bands on the Internet when we launched our site on May 20th, 1996! Now, we're looking into new cool technologies such as the iTunes music store, and podcasting. More on those in the future...
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" and it's the latest way to get news from the Internet. We've had a number of requests for our site to be available on RSS, but it wasn't until Apple included built-in RSS support in their Mac web browser, Safari, that it really even showed up on our radar. Well, over dinner, Karl put a couple hours of programming to good use and voila, we have an RSS feed.
There is an "XML" link at the bottom of the home page that leads to the RSS Feed, if you have an RSS reader. There, anyone or any webpage can have quick access to news about the band.
If you happen to be on a newer Mac, the RSS icon will show up in the location bar of Safari, and Safari does a really nice job of formatting RSS feeds and making them very useful (as seen in the inset photo and this close up.)
There are many RSS readers out there for Macs, PCs and UNiX, so have fun.
