What if you can’t understand the lyrics?

Sometimes despite our best efforts, the sound in places we play are less than we would like to have. We try very hard to obtain the best sound possible for each and every concert but sometimes the acoustics make it difficult to hear and understand the lyrics. In addition, we might be working with new sound technicians or equipment. Occasionally we are playing in a venue that is more suited to a worship service than a Christian rock concert, and that plays a part as well. Of course sound is better in some buildings than others and might even be better in one part of the room than another. We always plan to arrive early to check these things out to get the best sound we can for each performance.
