Vote for Christianity Today's Music Awards (Win 15 CDs of Your Choice)
Mon., Oct. 30. 2006 12:59pm EST
Christianity Today (a different publication than CCM) has just opened the balloting for their 2006 Reader's Choice Awards for music. Last year, our "New & Used Hits" CD won the best album award thanks to our fans voting online. We also finished in the group category after Skillet.
Please consider voting for ApologetiX for the band category and "Hits: The Road" for the album category. The ballot asks 10 simple questions and takes about a minute to complete.
You could win 15 free Christian CDs of your choice -- just completing the ballot enters you in the contest. You must be at least 13 years old (by November 19) and a U.S. resident to enter. Please enter only once. Hurry! The balloting ends midnight on November 19.
Just go to:
http://www.christianitytoday.com/music
and click on the link under the headline "Win 15 Free CDs!" that says "Readers' Choice Christian Music Awards survey."
The five main questions are:
1. Christian Album of the Year (Please consider "Hits: The Road" by ApologetiX)
2. Best Christian Group or Band (Please consider ApologetiX)
3. Best Christian Female Recording Artist
4. Best Christian Male Recording Artist
5. Best New Christian Group or Artist (We're not eligible for that one :)
The other questions are just basically your age, gender, state, etc.
Christianity Today is a very influential publication, and your input is very influential with them. Case in point: In January 2005, they published a mixed review of "New & Used Hits" that took a few jabs at the band and questioned the value of Christian parodies. They received such a vocal response from ApologetiX fans that they followed it up with a nice feature article on us. Thanks!
