Where's "Wordplay"? (Update on the New CD)
Mon., Nov. 6. 2006 10:52pm EST
The mixing and mastering is just about finished on our upcoming CD, "Wordplay," and we plan to send the final master to the duplicator later this week. The CD was originally supposed to be in stores on Tuesday, November 7, but we didn't want its release to obscure election-day coverage. :)
Seriously, though, we're really sorry that "Wordplay" is late. Nobody is looking forward more to having the finished CD than we are, believe us! We started recording it in March, and we've been writing the parodies on it for the past three years. As soon as it's ready for purchase, we'll let you know.
It'll be worth the wait. Even if it's delayed a week or two, "Wordplay" should still be out long before any of our recent CDs has been -- and before the Christmas-shopping rush starts on Thanksgiving weekend. Thanks for your patience and your prayers.
"Wordplay" is our first full-length album of all-new material since "Adam Up" was released in late December 2003. ApologetiX producer Karl Messner says the vibe of "Wordplay" is better than anything on "Adam Up."
It's also our first project to fully feature our newest member, Jimmy "Vegas" Tanner, who only played three tracks on "Hits: The Road."
