This Past Weekend in OH & PA

We received a warm winter's welcome on our return to the road this past weekend in Wintersville OH (Friday), Connellsville PA (Saturday), and Clarion PA (Sunday). All the concerts were well attended, and the crowds even got bigger as the weekend wore on.
Saturday's concert in Connellsville was the 919th concert overall for us -- not your typical significant number -- but it was a major milestone for two of our fans. Eastern Ohio's Bethany Davis and Central Pennsylvania's Micah Clausen became the first ApologetiX fans to attend 100 concerts. Ironically, they've never ridden to a concert in the same vehicle; they just happened to hit 100 on the same night.
Micah attended a number of those concerts while riding along with us as our roadie (although he came out to see us in Oregon on his own), so Beth still holds the record for most concerts by a fan not working with the band. However, Beth's dad, Larry Davis, who has attended over 90 concerts with Beth, points out that he's the one who does the driving, so he should get the credit for the miles. Nevertheless, it should be noted that Beth has driven as far as Alabama, Illinois, and New England without Larry. '

I have just returned from your concert in Clarion PA and felt the need to drop you all a line. First of all, I want to say thank you for sharing your incredible talents and positive message with the world. Today's youth especially, need a positive influence and a unique presentation of the Word to show them the importance of having Christ in our lives. Judging by the looks on the kids faces that I saw tonight, you guys have been extremely instrumental in bringing them closer to the Lord. You've also done the same for me. You music has also helped me get back into my Bible reading and helped renew my perspective on the Glory of God and not only what He has done for me but what I can do for Him. Thank you so much and God bless you all.
