This Past Weekend in Western PA
Mon., Jan. 29. 2007 12:52am EST
Frosty the Snowman paid a visit to all three of our Western Pennsylvania concerts this past weekend in Conneaut Lake (Friday), Erie (Saturday), and Lower Burrell (Sunday). Thankfully, that didn't stop a lot of fans from doing the same.
On Saturday night, we celebrated Keith Haynie's 10th anniversary as our bass player. Actually, his 10th anniversary was October 6, 2005, but we wanted to surprise him, so we waited an extra 16 months. :) We really just wanted to get him a Playstation 3 as a gift, and we needed a special occasion.
Saturday was Keith's 789th concert with us, but we didn't feel like waiting till his 800th. Besides, we felt like we'd never really honored him properly for his first decade, and we wanted to thank him for all the driving, loading, auto maintenance, and, of course, bass playing he's done for ApologetiX. Thanks for everything, Keith!
Special thanks to:
