ApologetiX in West Newton PA -- Plus a Bunch of Ne
Sat., May. 26. 2001 1:26am EDT

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

J. Jackson, lead singer for ApologetiX (That Christian Parody Band) here.

Thanks to all of you who prayed that our bass player, Keith Haynie, would be able to sell his house and to buy a new house. Both of those things have now happened. Please keep my family in prayer for this Wednesday, May 30. I can't explain why right now, but it's an important date for us!

Lisa (my wife), Janna (our daughter), and I visited our families in the Washington D.C. area this week. Lisa's sister, Jody, and her husband, Joe, were visiting Washington D.C., and since they live in Orlando, FL, it was a lot closer for us to visit them from our home base in Pittsburgh! We stayed at the home of my oldest sister, Jeannine, who is one of the best hostesses in the world. She's also played hostess to ApologetiX when we played in Atlanta back in 1996 and 1999. Janna had a wonderful time, and it was nice for us to travel and not have to worry about setting up for a concert!

Speaking of concerts, we've added some new ones to the schedule, including concerts in Fairfield, CA (June 9), San Diego CA (July 29), Midland, MI (August 4), and Green Bay, WI (October 13)! Here's a revised schedule for you!
