This Past Weekend in MO, AR & OH
Sun., Oct. 14. 2007 10:51pm EDT
Our first two stops on this past weekend's tour were the birthplaces of two very unlikely bedfellows -- conservative national talk show host Rush Limbaugh (Cape Girardeau MO, technically Jackson MO) and liberal former U.S. President Bill Clinton (Hope AR). Just for fun, we added a third stop at the birthplace of fabled sharpshooter Annie "Get Your Gun" Oakley (Greenville IN).
Interestingly, ApologetiX lead guitarist/keyboardist Bill "Wild Thing" Hubauer played the role of "Wild Bill" Hickok in his senior class production of "Annie Get Your Gun." That role also required him to sing "There's No Business Like Show Business." Bill adds the following comment, "Praise God there's no video documentation of that."
Here's a nice email from a fan who saw us in Hope:Really enjoyed your all in Hope AR last night. I wish you well and hope to see you soon.
