ApologetiX in Concert in Nashville on Sat., April 7
Fri., Mar. 30. 2001 1:59am EST
J. Jackson again, still the lead singer for ApologetiX (That Christian Parody Band).
Hey, I don't mean to bombard your e-mail box, but I just got some new information hot off the press.
ApologetiX is coming to the Nashville area next weekend! Ashland City is less than a half hour from Music City, USA, and the place that's hosting us has been playing ApologetiX in heavy rotation for quite some time.
For those of you in Tennessee and surrounding states who've been asking us when we're coming to your area, here's your big chance!
Sat., April 7, 8 p.m.
(Doors open at 7 p.m.)
Ashland Skate & Family Center
99 Brook Hollow Drive
Ashland City, TN
Admission: $4 covers both concert and skating!
Contact: Michael & Deborah Joseph 615-792-8886 mjoseph@valexander.com
The roller skating connection is a nice touch -- just ask the guys in the band and anybody else who saw me roller skate for the first time two months ago at our bass player Keith Haynie's daughters' birthday party. I still have sore elbows! Our lead guitarist, Karl Messner, showed the video to his mother, a former skating queen, and apparently I provided quite a bit of entertainment!
Apologetically,
J.

2 Timothy 2:15
(In the previous e-mail I mistakenly listed this verse as 2 Peter 2:15)
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
