This Past Weekend in PA
Sun., Sep. 21. 2008 12:23am EDT
We did what our parents always told us to do and played close to home this past weekend, with concerts in New Castle PA and Titusville PA.
Here's some fan feedback we received from Friday's show:I took a friend of mine for her first time to one of your awesome concerts and she loved it! She's 19 and was very impressed with all of you. You guys always seem to outdo yourselves every time I see you and your skill and talent is impeccable!
I never seen someone play the guitar and the keyboard at the same time, the drummer was off the hook, the other guitar dude was classic, and the leader of your pack was totally awesome as usual! Thanks for a blessing and wonderful time tonight!
Valerie Riordan
Pittsburgh PA Special thanks to:
Our concert coordinators: Dennis Kauffman (New Castle) and Matt Johnson (Titusville).
Our merchandise coordinators: Marie (New Castle and Titusville); and Debra, Mikaylah, and Ashley (New Castle).
Our bus drivers: Keith "Holy Driver" Haynie (New Castle) and Rich "Aquaman" Polick (Titusville).
Our roadies: Rich and Brandon (New Castle and Titusville); Evan and Dan (New Castle); and Sam, Tim, and Jesse (Titusville).
Honorable mention to:
Rich Polick, who came to both concerts, bringing his total number of ApologetiX concerts to 122 -- the most ever by a fan. He already held the record for most states by a fan (23). Congratulations, Rich, and thanks for all your help behind the wheel and behind the scenes.
Marie Polick (Rich's daughter), who also attended both concerts, bringing her total to 101 concerts. Marie is only the fifth fan to make it to 100 ApologetiX concerts.
Larry Davis who came from Columbiana OH to Friday's show, and has now been to 118 concerts and is closing in on the runner-up position on our all-time list.
The Brothers Gross, Brandon and Evan (a.k.a. Ethan), who have seen us a total of 121 times (one fewer than Rich Polick) if you add up their totals (64 for Brandon and 57 for Evan). Brandon came to both shows and Evan came to New Castle.
"Danger" Dan Uber, who apparently didn't get enough of us last weekend when he drove the bus, so he attended the New Castle show, giving him 31 concerts all time.
