This Past Weekend: Anniversary Shows in PA
Mon., Mar. 30. 2009 1:28pm EDT
We celebrated our 17th anniversary this past weekend with concerts in West Newton PA and Wexford PA. ApologetiX played its first concert ever in nearby Irwin PA on March 27, 1992.
ApologetiX alumni drummers Rick Servocky, Bob Flaherty, and Bill "Moose" Rieger were all on hand in Wexford, as was the band's original bassist, Jerry Haysotek. It was also the first appearance on stage simultaneously of all six current members of the band -- J. Jackson, Keith Haynie, Jimmy Tanner, Bill Hubauer, Tom Milnes, and Tom Tincha. Usually we play out with a five-man line-up featuring both Toms on guitars or with Bill filling in for one or both of the Toms.
The concerts were held at two places near and dear to J.'s heart -- his old church, House of Faith Ministries in West Newton, and his current church, New Community Church in Wexford. Fans came from as far away as Cleveland OH (Vicki Liminskivichski and Robert) and Philippi WV (Mark and Sherry Farnsworth and family).
Special thanks to:
