Well, the waiting is just about over. By the time you read this newsletter, it should be Tuesday, November 21 -- the official release date for the new CD by ApologetiX (not to mention the new CDs from DC Talk and Michael W. Smith). "Spoofernatural" contains 19 biblical parodies of rock hits from the 1950's-2000, and this is the e-mail newsletter which finally tells you plainly what songs are on it!

1. CD RELEASE PARTY
The official release party for "Spoofernatural" will be this Saturday, November 25 (two days after Thanksgiving) at 2 p.m. It'll be held at the brand new Family Christian Store in Robinson Town Centre in Pittsburgh, PA, and the band will be on hand to sign the CDs, chat and play some of the new tunes "live" for a mini-concert.

From Pittsburgh: Take Rt. 279S (Parkway West) to the end. Follow signs that say "Rt. 22/30 West to Airport." You'll be on that road for a few minutes and pass a few exits, and then you'll see a sign that says "Exit 1 Robinson Town Ctr Blvd." Take that exit. At end of exit ramp, turn right at light. Make right at first light onto Park Manor Boulevard. Make left at first light into shopping plaza. Family Bookstores is two stores to the left of the big Ames store.

2. CCM MAGAZINE AD
When I got home from our concert in Watertown, NY (They had about a foot of snow accumulate during our concert -- no kidding!) this weekend, I discovered that the new CCM Magazine had arrived already! We have a full-page ad for "Spoofernatural" on the inside front cover. I don't think it will hit the bookstores until November 28, but it DID hit subscribers in time for the new CD release. If your local store doesn't stock ApologetiX or "Spoofernatural," it might be a good idea to show them the ad in the new CCM Magazine (It's the December issue with Rebecca St. James on the cover. The November issue had Chris Rice on it).

If you local store doesn't stock ApologetiX, please tell them that they can order through their major distributors: Ingram/Spring Arbor, Riverside or New Day. Chances are, your local store orders from at least one of these distributors. Those distributors have all placed large orders for "Spoofernatural" and should have it in stock. If your store has a ReSound unit that plays CD samples, you can look up ApologetiX on that unit, and show them our first four CDs. It'll show the covers, list the songs and play them all. ApologetiX is in all the ReSound units.
