This Past Weekend in CT, ME & NY
Mon., Jul. 20. 2009 8:13am EDT
Our tour schedule this past weekend in Southington CT, Waldoboro ME, and Binghamton NY finished on a high note with a concert at NYSEG Stadium, home of the New York Mets' AA minor-league affiliate. We played after the game, and the first 1000 fans received a free Moses bobblehead.
Being from Pittsburgh, we're quite familiar with minor-league baseball; our beleaguered Pirates have been a farm team for many a major-league franchise in the past 17 years.
ApologetiX fan Don McCallum also hit a home run with our two newest guitarists, Tom Milnes and Tom Tincha, when he presented them with a custom-made guitar after Friday's show in Southington.
Here's a comment from a fan who was at the Binghamton show:Saw your show at Binghamton yesterday and enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work. You are touching more hearts than you know. God bless you, good and faithful servants.
