This Past Weekend in MA & VT
Mon., Oct. 19. 2009 3:59pm EDT
New England is a pretty historic place, so it shouldn't be surprising that ApologetiX history was made this past weekend at our concerts in Pittsfield MA and Randolph VT.
We've now played all six New England states within the last 11 months, including New Hampshire on May 16, Connecticut on July 17, Maine on July 18, and Rhode Island on November 22, 2008. We'd played all the New England states at one time or another in the past, but this is the first time we've done it all in the span of a year.
It was our fifth trip to Massachusetts in the last two years but only our second trip ever to Vermont, and our first in a decade (The other time was October 29, 1999).
Saturday's concert in Vermont was also a significant milestone for ApologetiX guitarist Tom "Itchze" Milnes -- the one-year anniversary of his first concert with us. Vermont is the 30th state he's played in with ApologetiX.
We even had a nice contingent of Canadian fans (led by Dan and Debbie Plant) drive down from Ottawa ON to see us on Saturday, which was quite inspiring for us
Here are some fan emails we received afterward:What a concert you put on Friday in Pittsfield! I think it was on of the best concerts I have seen you do. the new songs are awesome! I thought the new new songs on Recovery were amazing and then I hear these songs! You are getting better and better. God is really doing a work through you!

First let me say what a great time we all had at the Vermont show and thanks to you guys for making it an extra memorable time for my son. Anyways, a few of us were talking after service today and were wondering what the logistics are to have you come and play at our church.

I am so glad that I got to come to the show in Randolph last night. I was at the Auburn NH show a few years back, and you guys just keep getting better and better.
The Lord has blessed all of you with incredible gifts and it is fantastic to see you all using them. The lyrics are fantastic, the instruments are played to perfection and the vocals are just right. TNT adds a whole new dimension to the show.
