This Past Weekend in IN & MO
Wed., Feb. 3. 2010 12:47pm EST
We hope you paid attention to our opening acts this past weekend in Seymour IN and Sikeston MO. It wouldn't be the first time the next big thing in music came out of those towns.
In 1951, a cougar cub named John Mellencamp was born in Seymour. In 1955, an up-and-coming regional artist named Elvis Presley performed at the Sikeston Armory, the same place we played Saturday night.
So keep your eyes on The Will Rayburn Band from Seymour, and Justin Pobst & Travis Niswonger from Sikeston.
Special thanks to:
Our concert coordinators: Tim Goodpastor (Seymour); and Charles Palmer and Cool Aunt Dianne Jarvis (Sikeston)
Our merchandise coordinators: Jackie and Anna (Seymour); and Amber and Crysal (Sikeston)
Our bus driver: Rich Polick, who is the reason you can't spell "ApolickgetiX" without "Polick" in the middle.
