ApologetiX Video Breakthrough

This is Karl Messner, lead guitarist and producer for ApologetiX (That Christian Parody Band).
Hey, I just got a call from Tim Hetchler of Wesscott Marketing, the company that handles the sales of our CDs to distributors and stores. He called to report that some stores that ordered a LOT of Keep the change sold out the first day! (PRAISE THE LORD) but he said he was having a rough time getting a chain of stores in a certain part of the country to even carry ApologetiX (temporary insanity). So, he took our cool 24-minute video to the local public access cable station (He lives in Minnesota) and asked them to air it, since that's free to the public. You're supposed to be a local, apparently to use the public access channel, so we can't just send one to each station. Someone has to walk in with it.
The guy took the video, and aired it a bunch of times, and lo and behold, those stores started getting people walking in asking for ApologetiX!
Tim called me to suggest that I make this offer to our closest fans and friends: If you'll promise to take it to your local cable access and try to get them to air it, we'll send you a free video to give them and you can keep it for your collection afterwards.
So, if you'd like to help ApologetiX get the word out to YOUR town, here's how you can help:
1) Find the local cable access station in your town and call them and ask them where to bring stuff to be aired and to whom you should give it. Some are listed on the net: http://dmoz.org/Arts/Television/Cable_TV/Public_Access/
2) Find out if they can use VHS or if they need Beta format.
3) Email the contact person's name, and the station call letters to VIDEO@APOLOGETIX.COM
3) Include your name and address
Everyone's always asking me how they can help ApologetiX, If we get enough response, I may have a few more ideas for our best "e-FANgelists!"
Shucks we may even shoot a new video. Lots of people have been asking for that ;) (Editor's Note: Lots of people have been asking for that, most notably Tim Hetchler and the guy who normally sends out the weekly ApologetiX newsletters and is editing this one! :)
