Soundproof Now on iTunes: How You Can Help
Wed., Nov. 10. 2010 2:55pm EST
Our new Soundproof album is now available as a download on iTunes for only $9.99. Individual songs are only 99 cents. You can also purchase Soundproof through all the major download services, including Amazon mp3, Napster, Rhapsody, MusicNet, LaLa, eMusic, LimeWire, and Nokia.
If you're the kind of person who doesn't want the actual CDs and just wants the downloads, we encourage you to use iTunes and these other services (especially iTunes, because it gets so much exposure). They're also great if you'd like to hear a 30-second sampling of each song before you buy.
Also, to help spread the word, please consider writing a review of Soundproof on iTunes. Because it's a new CD, when the average iTunes user searches for ApologetiX, they won't see Soundproof right away.
The more people who buy it or review it, the higher it will show up in the iTunes viewer. We also encourage you to write reviews of Recovery and The Boys Aren't Backin' Down. We were talking to our rep who handles iTunes today, and he said that the more times an album is reviewed, the more likely it is to show up when a person searches for the group's name.
Because those three most-recent CDs haven't been out as long, they haven't had the time to accumulate the number of reviews and downloads that our older CDs have. Consequently, many potential new fans of ApologetiX miss out on some of our best work when they do a search for our name. We'd like to fix that problem, and you can help us if you're willing to write a review or if you choose to use iTunes to purchase downloads. Thanks!
