This Past Weekend in IN & OH
Tue., Sep. 13. 2011 10:44pm EDT
Our audiences this past weekend in Anderson IN and Westlake OH were quite enthusiastic, and there were plenty of reasons to celebrate. Friday was the 200th concert for ApologetiX guitarist Tom Milnes, and Saturday was the 1200th concert for ApologetiX bassist Keith Haynie. Saturday was also Todd's first concert as a band member in front of his hometown Cleveland crowd.
We also celebrated the fact that we were able to make it home safely, especially after the bus generator (which we were using to power the lights and sound system) conked out twice near the end of the Westlake show. It did make for a memorable closing to the show, as J. sang our song "Death" with Todd accompanying him on the church's piano. In fact, some people said it was the highlight of the evening.
Here are some email/Facebook comments from our concert coordinators:Thank you so much for coming. It was a great show (as always). The Holy Spirit showed up and showed out!

You guys were fabulous! I'm so sorry your generator failed. I'm praying that it does not become a recurring issue for your band. Hope to see you in the Cleveland area again or perhaps in PA when I'm visiting family. Blessings on your ministry.

Westlake OH Here are some email/Facebook excerpts from fans:I really enjoyed your ministry and music tonight in Anderson. It's always a good time attending an ApologetiX concert. Looking forward to the next time you are in the area!

You guys rocked my socks off. My feet were cold walking out to the car. Had a great time at the show, though. :)

I brought my grandaughters and a grandson to the Friday night concert. First one for all of us. It was awesome. Hope to get you guys to Muncie sometime!

Wow! Another spectacular concert guys. You rock! Appreciated hearing a few songs from your next CD (almost said album). Looking forward to hearing the rest of it.
Didn't mind driving 300 miles to meet my brother and his family for the concert there. Traveled with a stack of ApologetiX CDs (with the volume cranked) and the trip seemed much shorter.
The testimonies shared by Tom Tincha and Todd Waites were very moving. And Tom Milnes' defense of the faith was memorable. Thank you all for sharing.
As always, J's God-given talents for singing and clever lyrics, not to mention stage antics, make ApologetiX a lot of fun and inspirational at the same time. Thanks to ApologetiX, I've been reading the Bible daily, and am determined to read it cover to cover. Thanks for the inspiration; I needed a push to get going!

Just got in the car and we are singing "Huge Slumber Party" because it's on the radio! We like your version better. Love you all. Thanks for another wonderful night!

Great concert in Westlake on Saturday! Really enjoyed the new 80's songs, the testimonies, and the very creative fill-ins when the generator blew.
