Alaska-getiX: A Nice Email from Anchorage
Wed., Dec. 28. 2011 6:06pm EST
Pardon the pun, but we've always thought Alaska was pretty cool. This email excerpt we recently received from a fan in Anchorage is just icing on the cake:I am a huge fan of your parodies. My sister's husband is a youth pastor and brought me back to Christ when I was lost. One of the things he showed me was your music, and it was amazing.
I feel that I can share this music with friends, and if I become a parent that I can play it in front of my own kids and have the sweet beats and not the dark lyrics. I believe that I own 12 of your digital albums. I pray that you guys get the funding you need to keep it going!
I have always wanted to go to a concert of yours. Unfortunately, I don't think you guys have come up here! (I could be wrong). When God gets you through this winter I was hoping that you could possibly look into coming up to Anchorage to play in the near future!
I am going to bring up your situation to members at my church and pray that we can help your situation in some way! But keep your head up. God throws us all through challenges as you know. God bless and thank you!

Anchorage AK Editor's Note: Actually, we played in Alaska exactly six years ago, with shows in Soldotna, Anchorage, and North Pole (near Fairbanks), on December 29, 30, and 31, 2005. It was the final state we needed to play to fulfill all 50. We'd love to come back. Please pray us back there!
