This Past Weekend in WV & MD
Wed., Apr. 18. 2012 1:42pm EDT
West Virginia and Maryland are two of the smallest states by land area -- ranked 41st and 42nd, respectively, right above Hawaii -- but they yielded nice-sized crowds this past weekend at our concerts in Weirton WV and Cumberland MD.
It was our 20th concert ever in West Virginia and our 19th in Maryland, putting those states back to back on that list, too.
Here are some email excerpts form our concert coordinators: The concert was great – I loved the songs, and the volume was perfect. Hope we can do it again soon.
Millie Gerbo
Family of God Christian Center
Weirton WV
We had a marvelous time! It was exciting and gratifying to see the reaction of the concert-goers, especially the first timers. You earned some more fans!
We accomplished our goal to fill the church and to let the community know that we still exist and aren't a bunch of "fuddy duddies".
You should have heard all the wonderful comments and the excitement you generated. They asked when we were going to have you back again. I got lots of thank you hugs from the people at church.
I never thought the older people would attend or even want to go along with it. They really surprised me with their support, attendance. and comments.
It was amazing! Thanks again for coming to our church. You really do make a difference in people's lives.
