This Weekend's Concerts Canceled

In this past week's newsletter, we marveled at how smoothly our 2012 schedule had gone compared with last summer, when we had four straight weeks of canceled concerts, caused primarily by the old bus.
Later the same day, the promoter for this Saturday's concert in Chillicothe OH told us he had to cancel. Two days later, our promoter for this Friday's concert in Washington IN called that one off, too.
At least it wasn't the bus that caused it this time. At one venue, the senior pastor was hospitalized and ordered the promoter to cancel, and the other venue had different situations to deal with.
Furthermore, our regular sound engineer got called for jury selection and couldn't come this weekend. Then our replacement sound engineer got called into work this weekend.
So now we have this weekend off. We appreciate the time off -- Todd's in the midst of moving, Tinch will extend his vacation in Canada, and Keith may lay some bass tracks down in the studio -- but we still have to pay the bills.
