More Christmas Cheer from Downunder
Fri., Dec. 28. 2012 5:28am EST
On Christmas day, a new fan in Australia blessed us by ordering downloads of our first 19 CDs and sending us the ollowing note:When I first heard of ApologetiX and your great parodies a few months ago at our church camp I was overwhelmed!
I grew up listening to all the Top 40 hits though the '70s and '80s and also loved the music from the '60s. But the words were so bad that I put them all behind me when I got serious about my faith.
I knew Larry Norman's hit, "Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music,", but resigned myself to just Christian artists. That in itself wasn't a bad thing, but it still felt like an enjoyment in my life had been stolen.
Well, you and the band have given it all back, and with so much more because of the great words! I just keep thanking Jesus for you guys and that you generously share the musical gifts He's given you all.
Your albums were the Christmas present I requested and I can't wait to share them with my wife and children! We'll all be coming to your concerts when you play out our way (love to have you visit Oz), or, if not, in heaven one day!

Australia We cannot express how thrilling and humbling it is to have our CDs be requested as Christmas gifts for a person who lives halfway around the world. Observant readers will notice that we included an email from a different fan in New South Wales, Australia, last week. That place seems to be swarming with ApologetiX fans. :)
