Are We Missing Two Books of the Bible?
Wed., Feb. 13. 2013 1:32pm EST
We just got an email from a fan in Alabama who brings up a good point:While organizing the songs from your albums in Excel, I noticed that you reference the contents of 64 of the books in the Bible, missing Nahum & Philemon (listing all books in a song doesn't count :p ).
The closest you get is listing Philemon as the last book that we know for sure was written by Paul in "I Love Apostle Paul." Are you planning to record any parodies that deal with the content of these two books to round out all 66?
On a serious note, I appreciate your ministry and your music. Listening to your music has been a blessing, and I've learned a lot.
I passed on all of your music to a friend of mine. He recently got a job working in a shipyard and has been inundated with secular music, and it has been a struggle for him to have to listen to that all day. From listening to your music, when a song comes on that you've parodied, he can dwell on your biblical lyrics instead.

Mobile AL Very interesting, Stephen! Actually, we do have a song written about Philemon that we may record someday. It's a parody of Led Zeppelin's "The Lemon Song" and is called "The Phi-Lemon Song."
We'd like to do one about Nahum, too, as that's the sequel to the Jonah story and shows what happened to Ninevah when their repentance didn't last. Nahum's also mentioned in our song "Obadiah," as a book with three chapters.
That's great about our parodies being able to encourage your friend! Thanks for sharing that with us and sharing us with him!
