Meet Our New Keyboardist (in Person)

We're pleased to announce the newest member of ApologetiX -- keyboardist Chris VonBartheld, the artist formally known as "Mystery New Guy."
Chris played his first concert with ApologetiX in Cherry Tree PA on June 22 and has played with us in Tennessee and North Carolina since then, but he's actually been traveling with the band since May 17, so he's already been to 10 shows in seven states.
After a two-month internship, during which he got to observe and spend quality time with both of his predecessors (Todd and Hubie), Chris is now an official member. Todd and Hubie will continue to help out whenever needed as alumni members, including some upcoming recordings which Chris will also play on.
Born and raised in Long Island NY, Chris has lived in the Pittsburgh area now for almost eight years. He and his wife, Danielle, have two sons, Jon and Zach, ages 13 and 8.
When he's not on the road with ApologetiX, Chris is worship leader at Center Avenue United Methodist Church of Pitcairn PA. In addition to keyboards, he also sings and plays guitar.
ApologetiX will be playing a concert just five miles away from his home this coming Friday night in Natrona Heights PA. We invite you all to come out and meet our new keyboardist for yourself.
