Update on Our Current Financial Situation
Thu., Feb. 20. 2014 11:36am EST
J. Jackson here yet again.
Thanks to all of you who responded so quickly and generously to our appeal email last week. God is amazing and He has given us such wonderful fans. Here's an update:
I was able to get a portion of my paycheck that was due January 1 to take care of some pressing bills, and I was also able to pay many other band expenses, including taking care of all of the band guys and associated musicians who were still owed money for our current recording projects.
We're not quite out of the woods yet, but we can see a clearing in the distance.
And you wouldn't believe all the letters of encouragement we have received, plus orders from as far away as South Africa and the United Kingdom, and donations from places as diverse as Taiwan, Germany, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, and Ecuador!
Here's an except we received from Ecuador:It's a pleasure for me being part of this provision to your ministry and please never feel ashamed of sharing with your fans when you're dealing with bad times. I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ has to be composed of many angles, as Paul said "a body with many parts"; then I think blessing your music ministry is blessing and enriching His church as well. If we're called Christians, we're supposed to help and support our brethren worldwide!
I'm so looking forward for the new Apologetix's songs and who knows, maybe in a close future, sneaking into one of your live concerts when I'm in the States or when you come to a South-American tour.
Please say hello to all the guys in the band and again, God bless you all, do never give up.
Ramiro Cevallos
