Encouragement from Missionaries to Turkey & Thailand
Thu., May. 8. 2014 2:59pm EDT
After our last newsletter, we received many encouraging emails, including these two from missionaries to Turkey and Thailand:I love what you all do! Please be encouraged that your work is appreciated. As a former missionary I am familiar with the challenges of having an income stream that depends on the generosity of the people of God. God was faithful in providing all that we needed during the seven years we were serving in Turkey.
Though my faith wavered at times, God remained faithful in His provisions. I pray that you will have His peace to continue to trust Him for His provisions for the work He has called you to.
Chris Waither
I want you to know that I appreciate what you do and I do not look at your requests as begging, but rather making your needs made known. I am a missionary to Thailand and I know what it is like to make your needs made known. Keep up the great song writing.
Thanks again and may God continue to bless you in the ministry that He has called you to.
Tim Sims As we have said before, one of the greatest honors we can receive is when missionaries -- people who lay their lives down for the Gospel of Christ -- take time to encourage us. We praise God for finding favor with folks like Chris and Tim and pray His blessings upon them.
