Deaf Teens Sing & Dance to APX
Wed., Jun. 11. 2014 3:49pm EDT
We've recently received encouraging emails from blind and mute fans of ApologetiX. Here's a new email about some deaf fans in Arkansas:I want to thank you personally for sending the lyrics to "Goodnews." My granddaughter and several other deaf teens played and tried to sing along with the song. They watch the movie Footloose with Kevin Bacon.
They on cue danced the "Footloose" dance to "Goodnews." Again, from my heart THANK YOU!
We have six teens in our group -- all are deaf. We have made a sound floor, with speakers in the floor so they can feel the vibrations of the music. We have played many of your parodies through this system.
The teens like "Good News Bookie," "Devil Went Down the Jordan," and several others. They try to sing the words along with the vibrations. The teens range from 14-18 years old. Their names are Lisa Bruner, Jeanie Reese, Barb Hendersen, Tommy Roberts, Jimmy Taylor and Rob Walker.
Keep up the work you are doing for our Lord Jesus Christ.
