APX Helps Teens Fight Drug Addiction

Critics of rock music have blamed it for many evils, including drug addiction, but check out this email:I appreciate your ministry. I was a hospital chaplain, and one of my units was a group of teenagers who were fighting drug addiction. I was having trouble making a connection with them. Through Divine intervention, I found your music.
I remember putting in the CD and playing "Choirboy." You could see the kids initial reaction was "Oh, he put in the wrong CD", then they realized it wasn't Kid Rock. They listened and wanted to hear more. I still see one of these kids. She is clean and sober and works. She is also a Christian.
God's call sometimes takes some strange turns. Since then, I have followed the call to medical school and am working as a family medicine physician in my hometown. Keep up the faith. I will keep the band in my prayers.
