Fan Had His Own Eddie Money Encounter

Last week we told you about the time we met classic rocker Eddie Money at a Houston airport in 2006. An ApologetiX fan in Nebraska has his own tale to tell:Mr. Money sat across the aisle from me on a plane to LAX in 1998. He looked over at me and said, "Hey, are those the new Nikes?" while looking at my shoes.
I thought he was kinda weird so I just answered "Yes." and avoided eye contact and conversation the rest of the way. It wasn't until the end of the flight when I saw people talking to him asking for autographs that I realized that he was Eddie Money. Kind of embarrassing.

Bellevue NE Eddie recently rolled out a stage production about his life called "Two Tickets to Paradise — The Musical." No doubt his airline encounters with ApologetiX and Rob are pivotal moments in the show.
