ApologetiX Needs Help & Prayers Again
Mon., Oct. 5. 2015 8:53am EDT
J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here.
I hate writing this type of email, but I need to ask for help and prayers again. I never know what to expect when I send these. We didn't get a big response to our last one on July 1, but God brought help in other ways. He is faithful.
I have a tendency to over-explain, so suffice it to say ApologetiX has some significant bills and expenses due, and so do I. But the band is still about five and a half months behind on my paychecks.
God has already enabled us to release three CDs and 42 new tracks in the first three quarters of 2015. We have many more songs in the works, and hope to keep bringing you new songs as the Lord allows.
Although we're sad that our keyboardist, Chris VonBartheld, is moving to Florida and can't tour with us after this month, God continues to encourage us.
One couple drove from Michigan to Virginia to celebrate their wedding anniversary at our concert Saturday. Another woman at that show told me she'd learned most of what she knew in the Bible from our songs.
If you'd like to help us continue this ministry, any of these four things would help:
1. Pray for God's continued provision and guidance for us.
2. Get our CDs (we currently have a half-off sale) or singles at http://apologetix.com/store
3. Make an online donation at: http://apologetix.com/store/store-donate.php
4. Donate by check payable to "ApologetiX" and sent to ApologetiX, 208 Charlemma Drive, Pittsburgh PA 15214-1414.
Donations aren't tax deductible but will be put to good use immediately. Thank you!
If you're struggling to make ends meet, don't worry about us. If you email me at j@apologetix.com, we'll pray for you and send you some free music downloads as our gift.
