Revisiting Our Last Single and Visiting Japan

Probably our favorite moment on the most-recent ApologetiX single occurs in the middle of the song "God's Zealot." In the original song, "Godzilla" by Blue Öyster Cult, there's a spoken section in Japanese.
Although we don't speak Japanese, we're told the translation is:
"Receiving breaking news! Receiving breaking news! Godzilla is headed towards the Ginza area! Please seek shelter as soon as possible! Please seek shelter as soon as possible!"
To make our parody sound as authentic as possible, we wanted to include a Japanese spoken section, too. Since the song was about Jesus calling the Apostles, specifically Simon Zealot, and it made the point that Jesus loves all kinds of people, we decided to include John 3:16:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
We asked Jimmy and Eve's pastor, Mike Scheib of Jesus Fellowship Church in Bethel Park PA, to provide the translation. Pastor Mike has been a missionary to Japan, and he graciously obliged.
At the time, we didn't know if we even had any Japanese listeners, but we thought it would be cool to have in there if somebody who spoke Japanese ever heard the song.
Just eight days after releasing the song, we received an email from a father in Japan telling us about his son, whom he says is "very interested in theology and apologetics; he is planning on getting a degree in apologetics. He enjoys your music very much and loves the way you have incorporated biblical stories and teachings into pop songs."
And dig this: That father and son didn't even know about that section in our latest single. Isn't God amazing?
