ApologetiX lead singer and lyricist J. Jackson was interviewed last week by Christianity Today's online publication at Christianitytoday.com. That interview was posted online on February 14.

The interview seems to be a result of ApologetiX fans contacting the publication after it published a mixed review of our most recent CD, "New & Used Hits." Although praising some of our recent parodies, the writer panned our earlier work and added, "you have to wonder how much interest and replay value there is here. Do most non-Christians appreciate the scriptural humor? Does the majority of Apologetix's target audience recognize the mainstream songs being covered?"
Apparently a number of ApologetiX fans who read the article contacted the publication and answered those questions in the affirmative, because the publication scheduled an interview with ApologetiX lead singer J.Jackson. The interview was conducted on February 8 by a different writer than the one who did the review.
Although she had only recently discovered ApologetiX, this writer said she had thoroughly enjoyed the "New & Used Hits" CD, as had her 12-year-old daughter! After the article was posted, she told our publicist, "I can't tell you how much fun it was interviewing J. He is a really intelligent, interesting, spiritual guy and friendly on top of it." She even expressed an interest in possibly organizing an ApologetiX concert in her area. God is good!
