Please pray for our friend Amy Bryant, who has been battling leukemia since 1998. She's only 30 years old but has weathered countless treatments and procedures. Each affords a remission for a little while, long enough for her to feel well, rejoin the work force, and begin to believe she's finally won. Then it comes back, in very insidious ways, reactions so rare that her doctors have rarely or never seen them in others.
During the past several months, she's been
receiving chemo directly through a device implanted in her head, but still has leukemic cells in her spinal fluid, so this means they're chemo-resistant. Now she's begun having daily radiation of her brain and spinal column. She's feeling very weary and nauseous, and seems to be feeling like the fight is too hard.
Amy believes in the power of prayer and has asked for prayer. Please join us in praying her through this. If you want to write to encourage her, please send email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "for Amy" and we'll forward it to her.
