Recording Update: Lots of Good News

J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here again.
Things are improving in the ApX studio situation. Not only did we just release a new single this week, all the parts for the songs on our next single have been recorded and are ready to mix. And that's quite an accomplishment, because both of those songs have a lot of parts! Jimmy had to spend a lot of time prepping them; we'll see how long it takes Wayne to mix 'em.
We've also added another keyboardist to the mix, Rich Mannion, who was recommended to us by Bill Hubauer, so you know he's good. In fact, you'll hear him on one of those songs. Don't worry; Todd and Chris didn't go anywhere — aside from Ohio and Florida :) In fact, Todd plays on the other song on the next single, plus one on the single we just released.
It's great to have Bill "Moose" Rieger in the fold again. He played guitars on "Some Doubt" on our latest single, and he's getting ready to record his next ApX song. Those of you who attended our 25th-Anniversary Show last August got to see Moose share guitar duties onstage in a set with Joe Cataneo. Joe was in the studio yesterday laying down guitar tracks for a previously unreleased parody I wrote in '96-97.
Incidentally, we have remakes of two songs we originally recorded back in the 1990's coming your way soon — one with all-new lyrics and an all-new title (but the same theme) and another with the same lyrics and a totally different musical approach. Curious? Can't wait for you to hear 'em!
Meanwhile, Tinch is well into recording guitars parts for a different song, and we've got drums waiting for him for the song after that. Thanks to all of you for your prayers about our recording situation. As you can see, they are being answered. Praise the Lord!
