Parody Plans for the Next Three Months
Wed., Oct. 31. 2018 2:09pm EDT
Here's a list of topics for 14 songs we already have in the works that we hope to release in November, December, and January:
- a song from the perspective of Eve
- a song from the perspective of Aaron
- the parable of the unforgiving servant (Matthew 18:21-35)
- the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:1-23, Mark 4:1-20, Luke 8:4-15)
- hope (the forgotten member of the "faith, hope, and love" power trio)
- self-reliance
- Enoch and Eljiah being taken into heaven without dying
- the Epistle to Titus
- the first angelic visitation to Joseph in Matthew 1
- the second and third angelic visitations to Joseph in Mathew 2
- the connection between Christ's first and second advents
- Joshua's encounter with the Angel of the Lord before the Battle of Jericho
- Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death."
- a much-needed, much-requested remake of an old favorite (nuff said)
As you can see, most of the topics in those songs are ones we've never addressed before. The others are ones we've only mentioned in passing or are now dealing with from a new perspective.
We already have a long list of other songs, artists, and biblical topics we'd like to tackle in 2019. Furthermore, we have a list of songs with completed or partially completed parody lyrics that we'd like to finally bring to fruition.
Please pray that God will enable to us to keep carrying on this work. We have inspirational, intellectual, and instrumental resources; we just need the financial resources.
