Clues for Our Next Single
Thu., Nov. 1. 2018 8:13pm EDT
We're planning to release our next single Sunday night, Lord willing. All of the parts are finished, and we're in the mixing process. Here are some clues to help you figure out the artists we're spoofing. If you think you've cracked that case, then see how many references you can detect.
SONG #1
Aaron's first 80 years were nothing fancy, with not many things going on, so he was free as a bird when God called. He wasn't on the hunt for a new job or searching for fame, but he'd soon be the envy of every mother's son in Israel — the first, not the last, of a dying breed of high priests. But therein lay the problem.
SONG #2
He was deep enough in debt to the king that it would take a century to pay it off, maybe 10,000 years. In fact, forever may not be long enough. Yet the king forgave it all. The debtor, however, forgot that sweet release when he met a man who owed him. Consider your debts when you eye a loan someone owes you, OK? If you won't, God will.
Once the new single is released, we'll announce it on our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
We currently have 113 other sets of downloads available for a donation of any size, including our previous release, "She's Not Dead" and "Read Isaiah," featuring parodies of The Zombies and Sugarloaf.
To get any of these projects, go to http://apologetix.com/store/singles.store.php#singles and select the download you want for whatever amount you wish to donate.
