Wanna Be in the Next ApologetiX Video?
Thu., Mar. 17. 2005 12:57am EST
In case you missed it last week, we're inviting you to be there when we shoot our next video projects -- our new single and our first "live" concert DVD. It'll be April Fool's Day, but it's no joke. And we're filming it in a place that's easily accessible to ApologetiX fans from many states.
Last year, with only a few days notice, over a hundred fans from eight states came for the shooting of our "Downer of a Sister" video in southwestern Pennsylvania. Many more said they would have attended if they'd had more notice. Here's more notice!
We will be filming our concert in Greenfield, IN on Friday, April 1 for use in two videos–and you can be in both if you're there!
The first video will be an internationally released music video for our next single, "Are You Gonna Be Ike's Girl." Some of the music video will have already been shot elsewhere and interspersed with live concert footage and PLENTY of fan shots.
The other reason for the shooting is this. We've been trying to release a live DVD for several years now, and have filmed several concerts in Hawaii, Missouri and Pennsylvania. There was always SOMETHING wrong. The audio in Hawaii got mangled, the Missouri concert footage was ruined by an overactive fog machine, and the PA Concert was underlit ;*(.
We've addressed all those issues and we're ready for prime time. We're going to have a seven-camera full video production led by Eric Pensenstadler, who is the videographer for Lynyrd Skynyrd and recently David Copperfield. Included will be an ultra-cool 30-foot boom camera that gets that flying-in-over the-audience shot you always see on shows like the Grammys, Nashville Star and the Tonight Show.
There will be plenty of fan and audience shots. If you're there, you'll be in the video.
Seating is limited and at three weeks out was one third sold out, so get your tickets now here:
