"Apol-acoustiX" and "Isn't Wasn't Ain't" Now Shipping!
Wed., Mar. 23. 2005 11:06pm EST

Our 11th CD release, "Apol-acoustiX," is finally in stock, although it is currently available only through our online store.

All pre-orders for "Apol-acoustiX" have been shipped with the exception of those that also included "Isn't Wasn't Ain't (Director's Cut)," which is scheduled to arrive at our warehouse by this Friday, March 25, and ship to customers that same day. If you did not or do not receive a Christmas CD with your pre-order, it is because you were not one of the initial 600 orders.

Fans began receiving "Apol-acoustiX" yesterday, and we've already received some glowing reviews. See the story titled "Enthus-iastiX for Apol-acoustiX" for more details.

Although the pre-sale ended at 11:59 p.m. EST on March 23, you can purchase both "Apol-acoustiX" and "Isn't Wasn't Ain't (Director's Cut)" for only $12.99 each. Neither of these CDs is available in stores, only at:

http://www.apologetix.com/store

"Apol-acoustiX" is a brand-new recording that features 12 acoustic parodies of some of the biggest names in rock history:

1. Talk About the Lord ((We're Gonna) Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley & His Comets)
2. Don't Be Fooled (Don't Be Cruel by Elvis Presley)
3. The Sounds of Silas (The Sounds of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel)
4. We're Not Gonna Drown (When I Come Around by Green Day)
5. Mediterranean Wholebook News (Subterranean Homesick Blues by Bob Dylan)
6. Scripture (Picture by Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow)
7. Last Rain the Clouds Spill (Last Train to Clarksville by the Monkees)
8. Eight Ways to Be (Eight Days a Week by the Beatles)
9. More Than Works (More Than Words by Extreme)
10. The Trinity (Thank You by Led Zeppelin)
11. Two-Time Baby/Lord's House News (Love Me Two Times/Roadhouse Blues by the Doors)
12. Yes Today (Yesterday by the Beatles)

"Isn't Wasn't Ain't (Director's Cut)" is a remastered-for-CD reissue of our 1993 cassette, "Isn't Wasn't Ain't." If you're looking for stellar performances, this isn't, wasn't, ain't the CD for you. It's a good time capsule that shows how we sounded in our formative years, and it contains some great lyrics, but we had a lot to learn. The CD features the following 20 tracks:

1. Isn't Wasn't Ain't ("Livin' Lovin' Maid" by Led Zeppelin)
2. David and Goliath ("Paperback Writer" by the Beatles)
3. Lions ("Signs" by Five Man Electrical Band and Tesla)
4. Patients ("Patience" by Guns n' Roses)
5. Help Me, Rhoda ("Help Me, Rhonda" by the Beach Boys)
6. That Daughter ("Black Water" by the Doobie Brothers)
7. Little Esther ("Little Sister" by Elvis Presley)
8. Don't Try ("Don't Cry" by Guns n' Roses)
9. I Found the Answer There ("I Saw Her Standing There" by the Beatles)
10. Be Like David Was ("Feel Like Makin' Love" by Bad Company)
11. Ain't That a Miracle ("Pink Houses" by John Cougar Mellencamp)
12. Faith Pt. 2 ("Faith" by George Michael)
13. God I Like About You ("What I Like About You" by the Romantics)
14. Christians Doin' Music ("Listen to the Music" by the Doobie Brothers)
15. What is and Will Forever Be ("What is What Should Never Be" by Led Zeppelin)
16. Matthew 9 ("I Feel Fine" by the Beatles)
17. Mrs. Protestant ("Mrs. Robinson" by Simon & Garfunkel)
18. He Really Got Mad ("You Really Got Me" by the Kinks and Van Halen)
19. Love Ain't Nothin' ("Long Train Running" by the Doobie Brothers)
20. Verynice City ("Paradise City" by Guns n' Roses)
